Head Chef Bayden has worked under the founder of Hungry Duck, Dave Campbell, for many years – developing and learning the techniques that has become the unique flavour of the Hungry Duck cuisine. With the great support of his Sous Chef, Alex and his apprentices Andy and Jonathon, the food speaks for itself in it’s creativity and flavour.
Founder Chef and restaurateur Dave Campbell’s career has been one filled with landmark establishments and pedigree operators. As a chef, Dave has worked with trailblazers in modern Asian cuisine including Neil Perry at Star Grill and Wokpool, Kylie Kwong at Billy Kwong and Tetsuya Wakuda. Moving south to open modern Asian restaurant Hungry Duck, situated in the south coast township of Berry, in its ten years of operation, it has become a highlight of the NSW regional dining landscape.
Hungry Duck always uses local and sustainable produce, and every meal uses our beautiful garden with it’s abundant supply of herbs, fruit and vegetables.
